"Integrity is everything! Policy kept increasing! Thought i and had a good bundle for 2 cars s as nd renters! Just bought a Buick in October after i paid off my Camry. Ive had my Camry insured with them FOR YEARS! I got a few quotes to ensure both of my cars and get a renters insurance policy but because I’m naturally loyal,I stayed with State Farm. I got a bundle package to fully cover both of my cars and a renters insurance package and elisa convinced me to sign up for drive safe , huge discount for my vehicles. I Literally never drive my Camry except to drop my kid off at the bus stop, about 1 mile a day, if that. I received my drive safe beacon, and immediately installed it into my Camry. What I noticed after installing the drive safe beacon was that the app,would give error messages more frequently than not. I liked to review my trips to see what i was and wasn’t doing right when i drive,…breaking.. distractions..etc. after about 10 days, i noticed the drive safe app was giving the error message more often then not. Reached out to them on and requested a new beacon for the Camry AFTER I HAD Already SET IT UP and was using it FOR WEEKS to monitor my trips and driving. In the mean time, after notifying them the drive safe beacon wasnt working, and they would send me a new one, i got a letter in the Mail that i was LOSING MY DRIVE SAFE DISCOUNT FOR MY CAMRY OF $143 because apparently when they cancel and resend you a new beacon, drive safe is removed from your account. Why’s that my problem? After seeing the next bill went from $294 to $397, i Called & spoke to elisa ( she’s the one that gives me true caring down to earth vibes) and was assured the billing i was seeing on the statement, i wasnt LOSINGMY $143 discount was not correct and to allow time for my drive safe discount to be re applied. A week or two goes by and I get a reminder text that my bill is due and it’s still almost $400 even though i called & spoke to elisa. Reached out to danette and was advised this was the correct billing amount And attempted to explain how long I had been paying my premium for my Buick, which I had just purchased in October, but danette claimed i had been paying for my Buick for 6 months and i had only just added my Camry in October,, which was not true. My Camry is the car I’ve had with them for years, so I’m not sure what she Was talking about the bottom line is is that I felt duped and lied to and integrity is super important when you’re dealing with any business so I Switched and went to another insurance company. I had already gotten a better quote for my bundle with 2 cars full coverage and my renters insurance policy, I only stayed with them because I’ve been with them for years, but I don’t like being lied to or tricked. I avoided the drive safe for years because I felt like it was just a way for these companies to monitor your every single move. Adding it and then losing the discount after i hot a non working beacon, or so i thought. The drive safe beacon which come to find out actually worked and was recording all of my drives the entire time, never even needed to be replaced, the drive safe app is just trash and gives errors frequently, i didn’t need a new beacon at all.. My policy was changing to frequently and made no sense. So i had to switch!u"
